Endless Ways to Make a Difference with Henderson County & Thermal Belt Habitat for Humanity!

Whether you can spare a day or commit longer, your efforts will provide stability and a place to call home for those who need it most. Together, we can create a brighter future! Some of our other opportunities include:

Volunteer with a Committee

Homeownership Selection
- Work with Homeowner Services and potential home buyers to determine fit and eligibility to the Habitat program.
Community Outreach
- Work with the Volunteer Coordinator to be advocates for Henderson County & Thermal Belt Habitat for Humanity.
- Answer questions about what we do, how we do it, who we help and how people can get involved.
- Help represent Habitat at community events where Henderson County Habitat has an outreach table.
- Assist with special build events.
Development
- Work with the Director of Development in identifying potential community partnerships.
- Development Committee volunteers should have good community connections and be actively involved in the community.

Administrative and Office Opportunities

Office Support

Office support volunteers would help with data input, mailings, surveys or other office related activities that may occur.

Social Media

Update our social media sites on a daily to weekly basis, and help increase social media presence for affordable housing, the need for volunteers and opportunities at the ReStore.

Translate

Help bridge the communication gap and assist with a wide variety of language needs in a number of departments.
